Bill C. Brown Associates Agency Involvements
Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake
Bill C. Brown Associates has been a faithful supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana and participant in Bowl for Kids Sake, their largest annual fundraiser for many years. For the past three years (2016, 2017 and 2018), our agency has been recognized as the “Most Generous Team,” the recipient of the Corporate Citizen Award for the 8th consecutive year, and the Tom Hargis Award for being the highest fundraising organization. This year we raised $5,400! We are proud of our long-time partnership with BBBS.
Bloomington South Dance Marathon
Bill C. Brown Associates was one of the sponsors/underwriters of the 2021 Bloomington South High School Dance Marathon which supported the IU Dance Marathon and Riley Children's Hospital. Despite the COVID crisis, they raised over $130,000 in 2021... simply amazing!
Our agency participated in and helped underwrite the Generosity Feeds event on April 6, 2019. With the help of our agents and staff, over 11,500 hearty meals of beans and rice were packaged and distributed to children in the Monroe County Community School Corporation. In cooperation with the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT,) we secured a $10,000 grant in 2021 for Generosity Feeds.
IU Women's Softball
Bill C. Brown Associates was the honored guest organization at the IU Women's Softball doubleheader against Maryland on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Stella Kim, daughter of Eugene and Lori Kim, and Landry James, son of Joshua and Kate James, threw out the first pitch for the game. We look forward to cheering on the team in the seasons ahead.
Hoosiers Outrun Cancer
In 2020 the Bill C. Brown Associates Family came out in full force to participate in the Annual Hoosiers Outrun Cancer. The agency has been participating in this event since its origin in 1999.
Monroe County United Ministries Food Drive (MCUM)
For the past 14 years Bill C. Brown Associates has hosted a food drive during the holiday season to benefit the food pantry at Monroe County United Ministries (MCUM). To date, we have collected 6,361 pounds of food. We are proud of our tradition of supporting MCUM in their efforts to distribute food to those in need in our community.
YMCA Corporate Challenge
For the last several years many of our agents and staff have participated in the YMCA’s Corporate Challenge which raises monies for scholarships for Monroe County families.
